Cleanerssecurity guards and assist employees in three Whitehall departments will launch a five-day strike on Monday in a dispute over pay.
Members of the Public and Business Companies union (PCS) employed by ISS will stroll out on the Division for Vitality Safety & Web Zero, Division for Enterprise & Commerce and Division for Science, Innovation & Expertise.
The union mentioned the employees are indignant at being provided a below-inflation 2.2% pay rise.

PCS basic secretary Mark Serwotka mentioned: “We haven’t had a gathering with ISS for months, which is insulting.
“Our members are working alongside individuals incomes more cash, on higher phrases and circumstances, whereas the corporate is making an enormous revenue at their expense.
“It’s time for ISS to pay our members a good wage and time for the Authorities to finish outsourcing and the ensuing two-tier workforce.”
The brand new motion follows a strike final month.
