Rishi Sunak advised Jewish college students he “stands with them” throughout a go to to a secondary college in north London on Monday 16 October.
The prime minister vowed to maintain the Jewish group secure as he spoke at an meeting and took questions from pupils, following a spate of antisemitic incidents within the UK.
“Like a lot of you, I come from a distinct background. Our society is strongest when that range is revered,” Mr Sunak advised college students.
“These of us who come from totally different faiths, totally different backgrounds, have each proper to take part and contribute to society in security.”
The Metropolitan Police mentioned there had been a “huge enhance” in antisemitic incidents following Hamas’ assaults on Israel 9 days in the past.
