A 75-year-old girl who was allegedly murdered by her daughter died of stab wounds to the chest, an inquest heard, together with her husband’s reason for loss of life pending additional investigations.
Virginia McCullough, 35, is accused of the murders of her dad and mom John and Lois McCullough in ChelmsfordEssex.
Inquests into their deaths had been opened and adjourned in Chelmsford on Tuesday.
Essex space coroner Michelle Brown stated Lois McCullough, 75, died on September 15 at an tackle in Chelmsford and her provisional reason for loss of life was “stab wounds to the chest”.
She stated “human stays believed to be” 74-year-old John McCullough had been discovered on the similar location on September 16.
His provisional reason for loss of life was “pending additional investigation”, Ms Brown stated.
The coroner stated police had attended the tackle on September 15 after considerations had been raised for the couple’s welfare.
She stated human stays had been found following a police investigation.
Ms Brown suspended each inquests “pending the result of the police investigation”.
Virginia McCullough, of Pump Hill, Chelmsford, Essex, is accused of murdering her dad and mom in Chelmsford between August 2018 and September this 12 months.
She has not been requested to enter pleas.
McCullough appeared earlier than Basildon Crown Courtroom final month and was remanded in custody till a plea listening to set for December 1 at Chelmsford Crown Courtroom.
