Flights have been suspended at Luton Airport due to a big fireplace that has engulfed one in all its automotive parks.
Footage posted on social media confirmed flames and smoke tearing via automobiles parked on the airport terminal on Tuesday night.
Car alarms and loud explosions could possibly be heard, with one witness saying the velocity through which the blaze tore via the higher ground of the automotive park was “unbelievable”.
The airport mentioned on X, previously often called Twitter: “All flights are at the moment suspended as emergency providers reply to a fireplace in Terminal Automotive Park 2.
“Entry to the airport is at the moment restricted and we ask that individuals don’t journey to the airport presently.”
Bedfordshire Fireplace & Rescue Service informed the Every day Mirror it was known as to the incident simply earlier than 9pm and 10 fireplace engines are on the scene.

Russell Taylor, 41, an account director from Kinross in Scotland, noticed the flames after flying in to Luton Airport from Edinburgh.
He mentioned: “There have been a few fireplace engines with a automotive ablaze on the higher ground of the automotive park at simply after 9pm.

Luton Airport has suggested passengers to not journey to the airport and to get in contact with their airline for flight info.
